Please note that we require that all pets on our campus are fully protected. All dogs must have up-to-date Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccines.

    • BOARDING

    Throughout your dog's stay at Midwest Dog Center they will be socialized with other dogs and allowed supervised play time out in our fenced in play yard.

    We treat your dogs like family and love getting to see them when they come in time after time!

    DAY CARE

    The perfect solution for your busy day!

    Let your dog play the day away while you work or run errands! Our doggie day care is available Monday through Friday and will allow your dog to play and socialize with other dogs throughout the day. Whether it's for a couple of hours or the whole day, let your dog enjoy playing in our spacious, safe daycare!

    GROUP TRAINING

    Group training classes are a fantastic environment to workshop obedience skills and learn how to interact with other dogs. Our in-person group classes take place on our campus in Andale, KS.

    Classes include Puppy and Socialization Classes, Basic Obedience and Advanced Obedience.

    Puppy & Socialization
    $120

    For puppies 8 weeks to 5 months old

    3-Week Class/Once a week for 1 hour


    Your Puppy will learn the beginning stages of obedience, work on socialization and any behavior issues. Dogs learn the most the first few months of their life, so it is important for the handler and the dog to eliminate bad habits.

    Basic Obedience

    4-Week Class /Once a week for 1 hour


    Obedience lays the groundwork to eliminate all bad habits early on. After completing this class your dog will be able to sit, down on command, heel and come when commanded. We will work on behavior issue like jumping, barking, digging, chewing, etc. Having the proper obedience makes your relationship stronger, and it is safer for your dog when you are in uncontrolled environments.

    Advanced Obedience
    $180

    4-Week Class/Once a week for 1 hour


    This class is recommended after the Basic Obedience Class is completed. We will work on heeling off line, long downs and downing your dog out of sight. We highly recommend this for handlers that are preparing their dogs for sports training.

    Details

    During this 2 week program your dog will be trained in basic and advanced obedience as well as off-line control. Training will be customized to fit your needs--including addressing bad behaviors.

    Your dog will stay in our climate controlled facility and will socialize and interact with other dogs while playing in the exercise area.

    Includes one-on-one handler training so that you will be able to maintain and utilize all that your dog has learned.

    *Basic training with MDC is a prerequisite for advanced training

    BOARD & TRAIN

    The MDC board and train program teaches your dog appropriate manners and behaviors in real-world situations, around other dogs, inside and outside and on and offline. The benefits of this training include:

    PROTECTION & SCENT WORK

    Not all dogs are good candidates for this type of training. A private evaluation with your dog is required prior to training.

    Basic Protection

    In this Level 1 class we will train your dog to target a basic bite sleeve, target the sleeve when given a command, and release the sleeve on command. With this course we will go over the legalities of owning a personal protection dog.

    Advanced Protection

    After the basic class is completed we will work on advancing your dog. During this class your dog will be taught to release from a distance and after the dog has released it will be taught to come back to the handler on command. The handler will be taught tactics during an engagement and also the legalities of the protection dog.

    PRIVATE LESSONS

    We offer private lessons that are conducted at your home or on the MDC campus. Lessons are customized to the needs of you, your dog and your family.

    German Bloodline Puppies

    New litters from our world-class breeding dogs.

    Our puppies are bred onsite from purebred German Shepherd Dogs imported from Germany. AKC/SV pink papers. Check out their lineage and choose a-la-carte training options.

    Protection Dogs

    Professionally trained protection dogs.

    These beautiful German Shepherds are puppies from our own litters. They have been trained in advanced personal protection and are family friendly.

    Imported Dogs

    Protection dogs imported from Germany.

    These dogs are fully trained and ready to go home with the right family.
